There are few things that Daniel Mateu enjoys more than playing soccer. He is a dedicated soccer player and believes it is a major aspect of his life. Daniel most recently played for the Miami Beach 2002 team and recreationally with many of his school friends. Throughout his many years of playing soccer, he has witnessed some of the financial burdens put on families due to the high costs of competitive travel soccer. This idea of others dropping the sport due to economic conflicts did not sit well with him. Through A Soccer Life Foundation, Daniel plans to grant playing opportunities to children who don’t have access and resources to the sport that he loves so much.
